Here are some of the decorations for the media portion of the living room. White sheers were draped over the DVD racks and mantle. White lights were placed underneath. A silver wreath was suspended from the ceiling using invisible fishing line. Snowflakes were attached to the mirrors and a 15-piece nativity scene is displayed on the mantle.
In the foreground you can see part of the new parquet flooring we installed to replace the aging carpeting.

Here's what our coffee bar currently looks like. Lots of flavored syrups, teas, super-fantastic European-style all-in-one coffee maker.
Hanging above the coffee bar is Tom's painting of a European coffee print.

The name of our church's coffee bar is the "Manna Cabana". We are "regulars" at the MC and regularly stock our own coffee bar with "Calvary Blend" custom coffee beans.
Tom thought it would be fun to reproduce the Manna Cabana logo...as he did here. (only this one is called "Mini Manna Cabana") Elizabeth wanted to call it "Minni Cabini" but she was outvoted. :)

Here is a view down the hallway. A little silver Christmas tree sits atop a small table stand. There's a winter floral arrangement at the end of the hall. The old carpeting was ripped up here too and we installed oak parquet flooring.

Here's some more decorations. We have 2 IKEA tables put together as a temporary coffeetable (until IKEA gets the one we want in stock). There's a wire tree on the coffeetable with some of our "special ornaments". Above the couch are 2 of the 4 "Brooklyn landmark" paintings that Tom made. A matching mini silver tree is on the other end of the couch.
Green and silver garland is draped over the doorway to Tom's office.

Here's our tree. A little 4ft aluminum tree. We have it decked out with retro and vintage glass ornaments and a classic glass tree-topper.
Here are the other 2 paintings in the series.

Here's a shot of the outside lights. We got a little late start on putting them up (Tom was recovering from a bad cold the week after Thanksgiving...when we would usually put the lights up)

Here's a closeup of the lights. It is a very impressive-looking arrangement. The people across the street from us had strung a single 100 light set partially around their front window and had it lit every night for the week prior to us setting up our lights.
They were so intimidated by the sheer volume of lumens emanating from our house that they gave up and haven't turn their lights on since.
There are many houses down both sides of our street that do up their houses in lights. It is very reminiscent of the good-ol-days in Brooklyn.

Here's a different angle of the outdoor lighting.

Here's the house in the daylight. We have wreaths hanging in the center of each window. Check out how straight Tom trimmed those bushes!

Our entrance is decked out in greenery and red trim.

Another view of the entryway... including the basket hanging under the glass-block window in Tom's office.
