Amazingly, 6 years have passed since our last remodel of the living room. This time we went all-out for a 50's era Mid-Century modern/Atomic age makeover. We included a mixture of vintage elements with new to create a vintage feeling. We think that we succeeded.
By moving the entertainment center to the opposing wall, we effectively gained over 4 feet of total space in the living room. It is even more spacious than it was after the kitchen renno.

We found this authentic vintage wall-art set at the Antique Trove in Scottsdale. The timing was perfect as the seller had taken them from their display and set them aside to take home since nobody was interested in them (up to that point in time). We grabbed them for a decent price. Considering how difficult it is to find vintage wall-art, we are absolutely delighted with this find.

Here are a set of wonderful vintage 50's lamps. The endtables were found on ebay.

About me
I was born and raised in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, only to later move upstate to New Paltz, and then end up in Prescott Valley Arizona. ARIZONA!!! There is just no better place to live than right here. I absolutely love it but fond memories of the old neighborhood are still vivid. And I miss the essential foods of NY... pretzels, pizza, bread, cold cuts, and pastries.
Eva and I are still madly in love with each other... since 1970 when we first met (when we were both 8 years old). We're living an abundant and very blessed life.
